Privacy Policy

Scaleify (“Scaleify”, “we”, “us”) is a messaging service that sends WhatsApp review-request messages to customers on behalf of the businesses that use our platform. This policy explains what information we handle, why, and the choices available to you.

We act as a data processorfor the businesses (“Clients”) that use Scaleify: Clients upload their own customer contacts and decide who is messaged. We act as a data controller for the account information of the Clients themselves.

1. Information we collect

From Clients (businesses using Scaleify):

• Account details — name, email address, and sign-in identity.
• Business profile — business name, Google review link, timezone, business hours, and messaging preferences.
• Billing records — subscription tier, wallet balance, and invoices (payment card data is handled by Razorpay, not stored by us).

On behalf of Clients (their customers, the message recipients):

• Contact details uploaded by the Client — name, phone number, email (optional), and any custom fields the Client adds.
• Message activity — delivery, read, and failure status returned by WhatsApp, and opt-out (“STOP”) replies.

2. How we use information

• To send review-request messages via WhatsApp at the Client’s direction.
• To pace and schedule messages for deliverability and to respect business hours.
• To enforce per-contact cooldowns and honor opt-outs and exclusion tags.
• To process subscriptions and overage billing, and to issue invoices.
• To monitor number quality and template status, and to provide support.

3. WhatsApp and Meta

Messages are sent through the WhatsApp Business Platform (Meta Platforms, Inc.). When a message is sent, the recipient’s phone number and the message content are processed by Meta under WhatsApp’s Business Messaging Policy. Your use of WhatsApp messages is also subject to Meta’s own terms and privacy policy.

4. Service providers we share data with

We share information only with the infrastructure providers needed to operate Scaleify. Each processes data on our behalf under their own terms:

• Meta (WhatsApp Business Platform) — message delivery.
• Supabase — database and authentication (hosted in the Asia-Pacific region).
• Vercel — application hosting.
• Razorpay — subscription and payment processing.
• Inngest — background job processing for the send queue.

We do not sell personal information.

5. Message recipients & opt-out

If you received a WhatsApp message from a business through Scaleify and no longer wish to be contacted, reply STOP to that conversation. We record the opt-out and the business will no longer message you through our platform. You may also ask the business directly to remove your details.

6. Data retention

We retain Client account and billing records for as long as the account is active and as required for tax and legal purposes. Contact and message records are retained while the Client’s account is active; Clients may delete contacts at any time, and we delete account data on request after account closure, subject to legal retention requirements.

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit. Access tokens and secrets are stored with restricted access. We restrict internal access to personal data to what is necessary to operate and support the service. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard measures.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to its processing. For recipient data held on behalf of a business, please contact that business (the data controller). For all other requests, contact us at the address below and we will respond within a reasonable time.

9. Children

Scaleify is a business tool not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
